The Glenrock site for the Illingworth family’s pedigree Limousin herd was the first site to go live for us in what is looking like being a great 2013 for the mooandbaa and Show Business partnership. This was a re design site with the brief set of show casing the herd’s leading dam lines and quality progeny available for sale. Watch this space on this site though as there will be plenty more images to appear on the site in the summer!

We love a challenge at mooandbaa.com and when Boomer Birch presented us with the chance of doing something new, modern, fresh and a little quirky, we jumped at the chance. In order to personalise the site a bit more we decided to play on a fashion theme (knowing that many of Boomer’s successful British Blues have names associated with the fashion world), so with the strap line of “Fashion is temporary, class is permanent” and a fantastic image of Boomer parading a heifer down a catwalk, the Pasturefields site was born. Again, the services of MacGregor Photography was employed for this task and Catherine Laurenson did an excellent job at providing images to suit the brief. We’d like to wish Boomer and the Birch family the very best of luck and look forward to plenty of updates in the New Year.

It’s always an honour when a high profile breeder requests the services of mooandbaa.com and Show Business to design their site and the Alford family of Foxhill Livestock was no exception to this rule. From the start Melanie, Michael and Charlotte Alford were adamant they wanted something different, so with the help of Catherine Laurenson of MacGregor Photography we designed the first site in our portfolio which launches a home page with a video. The video and fantastic imagery complimented the fantastic stock and stunning surroundings of Foxhill Farm and the site has since proved to be a record launch for us with just shy of 7500 page views in the first week of going live. From the start Foxhill has been one of the most exciting projects we’ve done and we don’t doubt there will be plenty more interesting developments to the site as their pedigree and commercial enterprises expand. Watch this space for a new video in the spring of 2013!

2012 was certainly an amazing year for Bridget Borlase and her Sacombe pedigree herd. Having dominated the Southern show circuit with her stock sire Clonagh World Class, she also picked up the Burke Trophy at the Royal Norfolk Show for World Class and her own cow Perrywood Wispa. She’s made a welcome return back to Stirling to sell bulls from her leading herd and even judged there in February. With a renewed passion and fire for success we felt it was only right to re launch her website show casing the progeny World Class and past herd sire Grangewood William have produced with a view to increasing sales off farm and promote those forward at Society sales. The inclusion of Blue Texel sheep and Beef Shorthorn and British Blue heifers to the enterprise could really see some exciting times ahead for the Borlase family. It was a pleasure re designing this site and as both Lyndsey and I are good friends with Bridget, we’d like to wish her and the family the best of luck for the years ahead.
